Polochon & Cie
Manuela Ducloux has created a nomadic lamp produced in Beaujolais. Passionate about decoration, this mother of two boys imagines a wireless portable lamp that can accompany them in their nighttime activities. "I had noticed that my sons were always poorly lit, and that the lights were very static in relation to their need to move… they were missing an object of their own." His brand is called Polochon & Cie, a nod to the elder (Victor) who called his little brother (Paul) "my duffel".
The Passe-Partout lamp is a real innovation: wireless and rechargeable (USB port), it serves as a torch, reading light and night light at the same time. Its handle is made of beech from sustainably managed forests and the assembly is carried out in a solidarity workshop in Belleville-sur-Saône.
